Happy. Happy. Happy.

Our little boy is getting so big! It blows my mind that he is almost 2 years old!

We've learned a little bit about the Terrible Twos or what I prefer to call "The Battle of Wills." We're actually really lucky. Will is so sweet, and his teachers are always telling us how great he is with his friends--helping them when they fall, or taking care of the new kid in class. And, he's so sweet and loving at home, as well. We've learned that sometimes Will is more excited in everything else going on to eat dinner, and sometimes going to bed is the last thing he wants to do. But, all 3 of us are learning the word "patient." Really, Will actually repeats it when we say it, and he's so cute when he does.

Thanks to Gram, Grammy and "Uncle" Charlie and "Aunt" Amy, Will has a full fleet of "Chuck" trucks and cars to play with. He loves playing with the cars, making car noises and driving them all over the place.

Will loves looking for planes and helicopters in the sky and making their noises, and every morning we look for the moon when we go out to load up in the car. He's learning so many new things, so quickly. His teachers have even started "potty awareness" at school, and he loves trying to sit on the potty. He was successful during a potty trip at school today, and he was so excited.

Will is also learning about feelings at school. Tonight, the three of us were playing on the bed, jumping and running around the upstairs, and Will said several times "happy." Happy. Happy. Happy. And, that right there, hearing Will tell us how happy he is, that was one of the best feelings ever.
