6 months...

This time last year, Will's 6 month birthday seemed so, so far away. Gus and I both felt like I was pregnant for 23 trimesters, but the 6 months since Will was born have flown by.

I was thinking back over the last 6 months yesterday. Will has become such a little person. He's exploring his world every day, learning so many new things. There was a time when the only noise he made was crying...about everything, and we didn't know what he wanted. Now, not only do I know the hungry cry from the bored cry, but he cries so little. Instead, he's talking up a storm, regaling us with stories of his day, I'm sure.

I think he'll be sprouting a tooth in the next couple of weeks, and I'm proud to have made my goal of nursing for 6 months. Back in April and May, I never thought I would. Now, we'll start to introduce him to fruits and veggies, and I'm excited about that. I am so interested to see what he likes.

He's sitting up very well now, and he can scoot pretty far. I don't think he's too far from crawling now. We're going to be in trouble once he's on the move!

Gus and I are so, so lucky to have such a beautiful, healthy and happy baby.

I'm posting more pictures below. We celebrated his birthday with another trip to the park, where he loves the swings. We go for his 6 month checkup with the pediatrician tomorrow, so we'll post all those stats when we can.

This onesie couldn't be more true. Daddy is the funniest, and he turns Will into a little laugh factory.

Enjoying the swing.

At Gymboree with Daddy on Saturday.
Enjoying the day out with Daddy.
