Rain, Rain, Go Away

Its been raining here for about a week, about 4 inches since midnight. We're ready for the sunny, cool, fall weather we've been waiting for all year. We want to get out to the park again with Will, but tonight, we'll settle for not washing away.

In the last week, we've upgraded a lot of Will's gear. He grew out of his infant carrier car seat, so we bought two new convertible car seats. They are huge! Its going to be an adjustment having to get him in and out of the car seat, especially when he's fallen asleep in the car. It makes me a little sad to make these kind of changes, but I know I have so much to look forward to.

We also got a high chair, after we realized that we couldn't use the Bumbo for cereal time anymore. He will start eating more and more food soon, so it was time to get ready for that. He likes the high chair a lot, and right now, he seems very interested in trying to eat the tray table.

Daddy and Will are nearing the end of their first set of Gymboree classes, so we're exploring options for our next classes. Gus really wants to start a music class, and I'm looking forward to starting baby swim lessons in November.

I'll try to post another picture update blog this week, but right now its late, so I'll leave you with some high chair photos.

Daddy did a great job putting the chair together.
