Some Updates

Its hard to believe that we're almost halfway through October. Things have slowed down at work for Gus, so we're enjoying some awesome family time. We've enjoyed football season with Will so far, and we're loving how excited he gets for Bodda Getta and his Aubie book!

At the end of September, Will had his 18 month checkup. His doctor was extremely pleased with how well he's doing. At that point, Will was weighing in at 27lbs, measuring 32.25 inches and his head was measuring in the 90th percentile. That's some big brain! I'm sure he's gotten taller since that visit though because he's getting closer and closer to reaching those doorknobs!

We recently made the decision to move Will to a new school. After some turnover in the administration and Will's classroom, we just felt like the care and attention wasn't there. While there are definitely some faces we won't miss, we miss Ms. Kizzy and Ms. Adrian already...even though they weren't Will's teachers anymore. Ms. Kizzy was the answer to my prayers, and Gus and I are just going to have to go see some movies and have dinner out so she can come watch Will.

Today, Will started his new school, and we couldn't have been more pleased! His new teachers and the administration were all so impressed with how well Will did. He got along great with the other kids, and he was very comfortable in the new classroom. We think this school will offer him a lot of learning opportunities--they have a director of curriculum--and we know this is the right place for him to be now. But, please keep Will in your thoughts as he transitions to his new classroom, and we hope things continue to go well.

Goofing off after bathtime!
